Rooted in Faith. United in Mission.

Wellspring Living began with Mary Frances Bowley’s vision while serving in Women’s Ministry at Peachtree City Baptist Church. From the start, faith partners prayed, served, and built safe spaces for survivors of sexual exploitation. Today, diverse churches and communities sustain this mission through prayer, generosity, and servant‑hearted support.

Our Faith Statement

Because we adhere to the beliefs and teachings of Jesus, it is our goal to offer compassion and model excellence in care without judgment and with great respect. It is because of His grace and work in our lives that we can create an environment of transformative care through the comprehensive services offered to our participants and in partnership with the community. Our faith will compel us to think the best of our participants and partners and seek to find strengths in them so we can create an environment for restoration. We seek to equip ourselves and others to provide the utmost care for ourselves, our staff, our organization, and ultimately, the youth and women we serve.

Wellspring Living is committed to creating a culture where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported regardless of their beliefs or background.

Ways to Serve

Ways to Serve

Faith partners support Wellspring Living in meaningful, hands-on ways throughout the year. Below are core opportunities for congregations, small groups, and ministry teams to come alongside our mission.

Serve Days

Serve Days are an opportunity for ministry groups, small groups, and congregations to serve together in practical ways that directly strengthen our programs. These projects include yard work, organizing donations, beautifying spaces, seasonal decorating, and other tasks that do not involve direct interaction with program participants. These days are joyful, high-impact opportunities for fellowship and service.

Adopt a Program

Churches can “adopt” one of our programs by committing to pray, encourage, and meet ongoing practical needs throughout the year. This may include providing meals or treats for program staff, supporting milestone celebrations, sending notes of encouragement, or organizing supply drives. Over time, this creates a consistent source of spiritual and community support for both staff and participants.

Donation Drives

Faith partners often lead donation drives to provide essential items for our residential and community programs. This includes clothing, hygiene items, household supplies, grocery gift cards, and more, all of which help women and youth feel cared for and supported. Some churches also host specialized drives during Human Trafficking Awareness Month or other seasonal initiatives. See examples in our Faith Partnership Guide.

Christmas Partnerships

The Christmas season is one of the most meaningful times of year for our participants. Churches can help create a joyful, hope-filled holiday by hosting Angel Trees, supporting our Amazon Wish List, providing Christmas meals, or participating in wrapping parties and program celebrations. Christmas partnerships allow congregations to share Christ’s love tangibly with women and youth rebuilding their lives.

Prayer & Care

Churches may choose to serve through prayer, pastoral encouragement, and thoughtful acts of care. This may include prayer covering for participants and staff, handwritten notes, care packages, or pastoral support. These expressions of love remind our community that they are seen, valued, and lifted up by the body of Christ.

Community Awareness

Invite Wellspring Living to share our mission with your congregation, small group, youth ministry, or leadership team. Raising awareness helps the broader community understand the realities of sexual exploitation and how faith partners can be part of the solution. Churches play a vital role in spreading truth, compassion, and hope.

Group Tours & Education

We welcome ministry staff, missions teams, small groups, and leadership teams for guided tours and conversations about Wellspring Living’s work. These educational visits help churches understand our programs, the impact of trauma-informed care, and meaningful ways to engage throughout the year.
